ANNOTATION

Lesson planning is a highly important part of the teaching process. Lesson plans are a teacher’s guide in his or her classroom. It outlines the learning goals and objectives for a particular lesson or chapter; it may also include the activity that the teacher has planned and the supplies they will need to help the students to complete before and after the course.

More importantly, this activity enables us, pre-service teachers, to describe the different parts of a lesson plan, construct and revise a lesson plan, cite challenges encountered in writing a lesson plan, and reflect on the feedback received for the improvement of teaching practice.

This also highlights the importance of a well-constructed lesson plan as it allows every teacher to enter the classroom with confidence and a greater possibility of having engaging activities that will result in an elicit learning experience with students. To sum up, doing this activity exposes and gave us an opportunity to construct our own lesson plan that will definitely be beneficial once we became a teacher.
